01. OATS
Oats are one of the largest grain crops that Pakistan grows. Most oats get their bran and germ removed through processing. That’s why most food products containing ‘ oats such as oat flour or oatmeal contain wholegrain oats.
Saremco International’s oats are naturally rich in beta-glucan. They have a soluble fiber found in their bran and endosperm layer of the oat grain as well. 02. BARLEY
It is also a cereal grain that was originally native to Asian countries like Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka. Barley is very important according to ancient times and was one of the first grains that are in production all around the globe. Barley is a big part of cereals export from Pakistan.
However, when bread became popular in the 19th century, the consumption of barley is moved to grains like wheat and rye. It has lower gluten content which provides the framework for the dough to rise, this application of barley in the production of bread.
